Now, let’s talk about the University of Pavia. First, we’ll go over some information about the university. The University of Pavia is a public university, and as I mentioned earlier, if you secure admission to a public university, you can apply for regional-based scholarships. There is almost a 99% chance of receiving a scholarship once you qualify.

The first step is to get admission to a public university. Public universities also offer merit-based scholarships, which you do not need to apply for separately. If you are eligible for a merit-based scholarship, they will automatically offer it to you.

University Information

Now let’s look at some details about this university. The University of Pavia was established in 1361, making it a very old and historical institution. It is located in a well-established area.

The acceptance rate of the university is approximately 60%, which is considered good. Any acceptance rate above 50% is regarded as favorable. According to the QS World University Rankings 2025, its ranking is 440, placing it among the top 500 universities in the world. This makes it one of the best universities globally.

The minimum CGPA requirement is 2.5, but this may vary depending on the program.

How to Fill Out Your Application Form

Start by entering the name of your program—this should be the program you completed during your bachelor’s degree. Next, you’re asked to specify your scientific discipline. Write down the discipline related to your bachelor’s degree.

Status of Studies

Indicate your status of studies. If you’re still in your 7th or 8th semester and haven’t graduated yet, select “ongoing.” If you’ve already completed your bachelor’s, choose “finished.” Then, you’ll be asked for the start date of your bachelor’s program. Enter the relevant date (you can select any date as an example, but ensure you provide accurate dates for your application).

Next, specify the completion date for your graduation. If you haven’t graduated yet, select a future date. If you’ve already graduated, enter the actual date.

For expected graduation, enter the estimated date when you will complete your degree if it’s ongoing. Then, mention the nominal length of the program. For example, in Pakistan, a bachelor’s program typically takes four years. Select “4 years.”

Study Location and Language

Enter the country where your bachelor’s degree was completed (e.g., Pakistan). For the study location, write the name of the city where your university is located. Select “English” as the study language because, in countries like Pakistan, the medium of instruction is often English.

CGPA or Grades

Write your CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) or final grades as applicable. If your bachelor’s degree is not yet complete, enter the CGPA up to your last completed semester.

Secondary School Education

For secondary education (e.g., FSC, A-Levels, or equivalent), fill in the following details:

  • The level of education (e.g., Intermediate, A-Level, etc.).
  • The name of the college or institution where you completed your secondary education.
  • The program name (e.g., Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Your discipline (e.g., Pre-Engineering, Computer Science, or Pre-Medical).

Specify your status of studies for secondary education. If completed, select “finished.” If still ongoing, choose “ongoing.” Enter the start and end dates of your secondary education. For Pakistan, secondary programs typically last two years, so select “2 years” as the nominal length.

Languages Section

Select your native language (e.g., Urdu) and then add English as an additional language. Specify your proof of English proficiency:

  • If you’ve taken IELTS, TOEFL, or another test, provide your scores.
  • If not, select “other” and mention that your degree was taught entirely in English.

Employment Details (if applicable)

Add any job details if you’ve been employed. Include:

  • Company name.
  • Type of business.
  • Position held.
  • Start and end dates of employment (if still working, mark “currently working”).

Documents and Requirements

For required documents:

  1. Upload your proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS/TOEFL certificate or English Proficiency Letter from your university).
  2. Provide a list of relevant exams you have taken during your bachelor’s program, particularly if applying for master’s programs.
    • Download the provided template, fill in the courses, grades, and credits you completed, and upload it.
  3. For grading systems, upload the official grading scheme from your university’s website or select the appropriate option based on your university’s grading system.

Payment and Additional Forms
